Description
Remains of ground spruce needle samples taken at four occasions (T1, T2, T2E, T3) in the nutrient optimisation experiment 1477 Flakaliden in year 1995. T stands for occasion/tillfälle in Swedish. The samples consist of ground needles from branch whorl 7, age classes C-, C+1- and C+2-needles. Ground needles (T1-T3) = sample no. Fla 1369-1424. A key list of sample numbers is available for download.
Background information
The sampling includes three treatments: control (C), solid fertilisation (F) and irrigation with liquid fertiliser (IL). Ten trees per treatment were sampled in occasion T1, T2 and T3, a total of 30 trees at each occasion. Needle samples were also taken on plots with treatments F-P and F-Mg in July 1995 (T2E), 6 trees/treatment. Sampling dates: T1: 1995-05-03 sample no. 1369-1374 (pooled samples per treatment) T2: 1995-07-12 sample no. 1375-1383 (pooled samples per treatment) T2E: 1995-07-13 sample no. 1384-1395 (pooled samples per plot, F-P and F-Mg) T3: 1995-10-10 sample no. 1396-1424 (pooled samples per treatment, individual trees for C and IL)
