Description
Remains of ground spruce needle samples taken at eight occasions (T1-T8) in the nutrient optimisation experiment 1477 Flakaliden in year 1992. T stands for occasion/tillfälle in Swedish. The samples consist of ground needles from branch whorl 4. Ground needles (T1-T8) = sample no. Fla 1021 - Fla 1089. The samples are pooled per treatment and age class. A key list of sample numbers is available for download.
Background information
The sampling includes three treatments: control (C), solid fertilisation (F) and irrigation with liquid fertiliser (IL). Ten trees per treatment were sampled in occasion T1-T8, a total of 30 trees at each occasion. Sampling dates: T1: 1992-05-11 T2: 1992-06-11 T3: 1992-06-30 T4: 1992-07-14 T5: 1992-08-05 T6: 1992-08-24 T7: 1992-09-16 T8: 1992-10-27

- Miscellaneous 2004: These samples were first stored at The Department of Forest Production Ecology, SLU Uppsala. In 2004 the samples were sent to SilvaBoreal-Archive for longtime storage.
